This design is a simple design so I won't talk much about how I make the design. This design was inspired by picture taken from internet was brought by my client. I love the colour combo the gold and red, here the red I used Angel Pro Gelly #35 it's a very nice red (sometimes called SQ stewardess red since SQ stewardess only alowed to use this type of red to paint their nails).

For this design of mine I was inspired by My Melody. So I did most of the base colours in Pastel Pink and add some Hot Pink for the lines. For the thumb I draw the Melody but I think the ribbon slightly to big cover the head of Melody perhaps next time I will do another My Melody design :).

For this art inspiration I get it from "Maya Tempaku Instagram (her instagram is maya_tempaku) and Hana 4 (her instagram is hana4). 

The different is all the art I did with Acrylic paint on OPI nail polish. This art I did for School Assignment project. (I took my diploma in Nail from Pinkroom International nail Academy in Singapore, one of the prestige Nail School in Singapore which produce tons of great nail artists based in Singapore and oversea). So I inspired can be one of those great nail artists.

In Singapore whenever you walk pass the window of the high fashion boutique or pass the jewellery shop (e.g.; Lovisa and Forever 21, two of my favourite shops for costume jewellery) you will see almost same colours  that is blue mint is my favourite colour. So inspired by this colour I created this "Blue mint fever " design.

Quickly describe this design, base transparent with some fine glitter to bling up the base #605 Harmony gelish, and the blue mint is #75 Angel Pro Gelly add some laces (Photo Finger from Korea) and studs from Japan and ribbon. In one word to describe this design LOVE...:)

Forget to mention earlier those nails are artificial nails mean I've done some acrylic extension on those nails...yeahhhhh for those yearn for beautiful nails even you don't have it naturally you can come to me I will change to your love :)

Dengan cepat saya berikan deskripsi tentang design ini, warna dasar transparan dengan gliter halus #605 Harmony gelish, dan biru mint nya #75 Angel Pro Gelly. Tambahkan stiker lace dari Korea, studs dari Jepang dan pita cantik. 

Lupa menyebutkan kuku disini adalah kuku acrilic buatan,,,,yeahhh untuk orang yang tidak punya kuku cantik secara natural bisa datang kepada saya dan saya akan merubahnya menjadi cinta Anda :)

Mosaic

I love this colourful blend of colours. Good for people who was not sure what colours they wanted on their nails :) actually you can have it all and save time to choose colours and let your manicurist choose it for you. This designed was recreated based on nail art magazine I just named it "Mosaic" because of the ring finger design ..isn't that looks like a mosaic piece in an old church somewhere in Europe...:)

Here for the base I choose light beige (#109 Angel Pro Gelly) and add some french with colourful and bright colours hot pink, blue, green, yellow and purple (All done with Angel Pro Gelly).

Saya suka  art ini karena perpaduan warnanya. Bagus untuk client yang tidak tahu mau memilih warna apa untuk kukunya..jadi bisa memiliki banyak warna di kukunya dan biarkan manicurist memilih warna untuk Anda. Design ini di buat berdasarkan majalah kuku dan saya memberikan nama design ini "Mosaic" karena design di jari manisnya yang mengingatkan mosaic art di gereja-gereja tua di Europe.

Untuk warna dasarnya saya menggunakan warna beige (#109) dan membuat french style dengan hot pink, biru, hijau, kuning, ungu semuanya menggunakan Angel Pro Gelly colors.

This art was recreated based on Japanese nail art magazine. All the base colours and the art was done with Angel Pro Gelly colours mainly pastel colours. And some of the nail art deco I used here is like soft piece of metal which can be bend to suit the nail curve shape.

For the rose even look simple in order to create this look took me sometime to do few layers of the rose color. It started from the lightest pink to the darkest pink to create this rose.

Art ini di ciptakan berdasar majalah nail art Jepang. Untuk warna dasarnya dan artnya  saya gunakan Angel Pro Gelly yang kebanyakan warna pastel disini. Untuk art deco nya saya gunakan semacam lempengan metal halus berbentuk hati yang bisa di sesuaikan dengan lekukan kuku.

Untuk gambar mawarnya walau terlihat sederhana saya harus menggunakan banyak waktu untuk menghasilkan lapisan-lapisan warnanya. Di mulai dari pink yang paling muda ke pink yang tua.

For this art I was inspired by Charlie Chaplin picture I saw on the t-shirt sold at night market near my home. I noticed t-shirt with famous person become a trend this day. So I went to internet to choose some of the picture of Charlie Chaplin which I can transform into nail art.

For the art in the nail tip and in the real nails slightly different , because my client nail art is not big enough for the complete same art with the one I did on nail tip. Yes sometimes when we do client's nails we need to do some impromptu adjustment.

For the base in real nail I use Angel Pro Gelly colour white #47, and black #29, and grey #14. 

For the art I did free hand drawing mainly I use Angel Pro Gelly white #47 and black #29, and did some marbling technique on pinky nails I used grey #14 and white #47. I only use few colours mainly black, white, and grey because I want to keep the monochromatic look which I love.

Untuk art ini saya terinspirasi oleh gambar Charlie Chaplin di kaos yang saya lihat dekat pasar malam rumah saya. Saya perhatikan gambar-gambar orang ternama menjadi trend tersendiri saat ini, lalu saya ke internet untuk mencari inspirasi gambar-gambar Charlie Chaplin yang bisa saya terapkan di nail art saya. 

Untuk gambar di kuku palsu dan kuku asli agak sedikit berbeda karena kuku client saya tidak cukup besar untuk beberapa gambarnya, ya terkadang kita harus melakukan perubahan mendadak untuk menyesuaikan dengan kuku client kita.

Untuk warna dasar di kuku client saya gunakan warna Angel Pro Gelly putih #47, hitam #29 , dan abu-abu #14.

Untuk artnya saya gambar dengan Angel Pro Gelly putih #47, hitam #29, dan saya lakukan teknik marbling di kuku kelingking dengan warna abu-abu #14 dan putih #47. Saya hanya menggunakan beberapa warna hitam, putih, dan abu-abu untuk art ini karena saya mau memberi kesan monokromatik yang sangat saya suka.

Balloons

This art may looks simple but not that simple actually very tedious, but I like it because quite a unique art just consists of balloons. This art was requested by my client and I'm not sure who is the original designer so forgive me not able to give credit to the creator of the art.

For this art I did the all colorful base first, green,pink,yellow,blue,orange (All Angel Pro Gelly) with 2 layers then I make the shape of the balloons by using white colors (3 layers of white in order to cover nicely the previous color (green,pink,yellow, orange, and blue) then lastly I drew the small tail of the balloons.

We can do this art in different way, firstly we paint the 2 layers of white color as a base then draw the balloons in different colors (do 2 layers) using painting brush (I think this method could be faster than the one I did).

Art ini mungkin  terlihat sederhana tetapi proses pembuatannya tidak seperti yang terlihat, tetapi saya menyukainya karena keunikannya yang terdiri dari balon2x saja. Art ini diminta oleh klien saya tetapi saya tidak yakin siapa pencipta aslinya, jadi maafkan saya karena tidak bisa memberikan kredit kepada pencipta aslinya.

Untuk membuat art ini saya membuat warna dasarnya dulu yang berwarna-warni ; hijau,pink,kuning,biru, dan kuning jeruk (semuanya Angel Pro Gelly) saya buat 2 lapis lalu dengan menggunakan warna putih saya bentuk balonnya, saya buat 3 lapis untuk putihnya sehingga bisa menutupi dengan bagus warna sebelumnya (hijau,pink,kuning,biru, dan kuning jeruk), lalu terakhir saya gambar ujung balonnya dengan tali.

Kita bisa membuat art ini dengan cara lain, pertama warnai dasarnya dengan putih (2 lapis) lalu gambar balonnya dengan warna-warna yang berbeda (buat 2 lapis) dengan menggunakan kuas gambar (saya rasa metode ini lebih cepat dibanding cara saya yang pertama).

I just did this design today on my client and this design was inspired by my friend's shirt (check the picture below). The design is simple but yet cute and feminine because the girly ribbons I drew, as you notice the ribbons not like usual ribbons but it's tiny and a little bit like butterflies (The artistic side of me notice it from the first time my friend wore her shirt:) ).

Art Inspiration

For the base color I'm using black from Angel Pro Gelly and did some french manicure for some nails.

For the art I just drew the ribbons in white (Angel Pro Gelly).

Saya baru saja membuat art ini hari ini di kuku klien saya, dan art ini terinspirasi oleh baju teman saya (lihat gambar di atas dengan judul "Art Inspiration"). Design ini sederhana tetapi lucu dan feminin karena pita-pita yang saya gambar, seperti yang terlihat pita-pitanya tidak seperti pita-pita biasa tapi kecil-kecil dan sedikit terlihat seperti kupu-kupu (sisi artistik saya langsung tertarik oleh pita-pita ini sejak pertama kali teman saya memakai baju itu).

Untuk warna dasarnya saya menggunakan hitam (Angel Pro Gelly) dan membuat beberapa french manicure di beberapa kuku.

Untuk artnya saya menggambar pita-pita mungil dengan putih (Angel Pro Gelly).

This art was reproduced based on my client's request (done on her natural nail). This art was designed by other local nail artist, Shirley Nail (her work is the picture below) there is possibility that her work was done on extension nail as the nails look more perfect shape.

The different is I didn't put the swarovsky in the middle of the roses, as I want to reduce the bulkiness of the roses. But still the art was credited to the original artist herself , Shirley Nail (I always believe in give credit to the original creator of the art to give respect to fellow nail artists).

For the base color I did french manicure alternately with red and pink (Angel Pro Gelly)

For the art I did embossed rose with white acrylic powder (NSI brand) and add some swarovsky.

Art ini diminta untuk di buat ulang oleh client (dibuat diatas kuku asli client saya tanpa extension) berdasarkan karya lokal nail artis lainnya, Shirley Nail (hasil karyanya bisa dilihat di gambar di atas dengan judul "Art was done by Shirley Nail" ada kemungkinan dibuat diatas extension karena bentuk kukunya terlihat lebih sempurna dan sama).

Bedanya disini saya tidak menaruh swarovsky di tengah2x mawarnya karena saya mau mengurangi ketebalannya. Tetapi tetap saja art ini dikreditkan kepada original artisnya sendiri ,Shirley Nail (Saya selalu memberikan kredit art kepada artis yang menciptakannya untuk menghargai sesama nail artis).

Nautical Theme

Nautical meaning is 'of or concerning sailors or navigation; maritime' ref; google search. So I designed this art based on the meaning itself by putting Anchor and robe or anything related with the sailing.

For the base color I used red, light purple, blue, and Silver Gold all from Jacqueline Burchell gelish.

For the art I draw the blue line and add some Nautical related stickers (stickers were made in Korea the brand is "Photo Finger").

Nautica artinya adalah 'sesuatu yang bersangkutan dengan navigasi, berlayar, atau maritim' referensi google search. Jadi saya menciptakan nail art berdasarkan arti kata Nautica sendiri dengan memasukkan unsur kemudi layar, tali atau segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan pelayaran.

Untuk warna dasar saya gunakan merah, ungu muda, biru, dan silver emas semuanya adalah Jacqueline Burchell gelish.

Bambi and Thumper (Disney Characters)

I did post "Mickey and Minnie in Love" before and continuing Disney characters frenzy based on my client request for Bambi (the little deer) I paired it with Bambi's friend that is Thumper (the pink-nosed rabbit). These days some famous designers did clothing design with these characters.

For base color I use sky blue color (some call it tiffany blue) and white all from Angel Pro Gelly.

For the art I draw some abstract flowers (Pink-Angel Pro Gelly)  and leaves (Green-Angel Pro Gelly). Not forgetting our two lovely Disney character that is Bambi and Thumper I mixed color between yellow, orange, brown, grey, white, black  for these two characters, all done with my favorite Angel Pro Gelly color.

Saya pernah post "Mickey and Minnie in Love" nail art di blog saya dan meneruskan keranjingan Disney karakter memenuhi permintaan client saya, saya membuat Bambi (rusa kecil) dan Thumper (kelinci berhidung pink). Nowadays Disney characters become very popular for nail art so I tell myself I got to do it and this time I choose everyone favorite characters, Mickey and Minnie. However I don't want to do like most nail artist do in red with some polka dots so I decided to choose unusual color for this character that is purple (my daughter favorite color :) ).

For the base color I did in light purple (Angel Pro Gelly).

For the nail art I did roses in darker purple (1 tone darker than the base color that is my rule if we want to use same shade of colors, we have to use color that either one have to be darker than the other so the color can pop up), the leaves with grey color (grey compliment the light purple very well). For the rose outline I did in light purple (same color with the base color I used). For the Mickey and Minnie I did freehand drawing with black,red, and purple (same purple color with the roses in order to keep same theme color) , All colors are from Angel Pro Gelly.

Sekarang Disney karakters menjadi sangat popular untuk dijadikan nail art, jadi saya pikir saya harus mendesign nail art seperti ini dan saya memilih karakter favorite banyak orang yaitu Mickey and Minnie. Tetapi saya tidak mau membuatnya dengan warna merah dan polka dot yang kebanyakan dibuat oleh para nail artis lainnya jadi saya putuskan untuk membuatnya dengan warna yang tidak biasa bagi karakter ini yaitu ungu (warna kegemaran anak saya:) ) .

Untuk warna dasarnya saya memakai ungu muda (light purple).

Untuk warna nail artnya saya membuat mawar dengan ungu yang lebih tua dibanding ungu untuk base colornya (itu aturan saya dalam memilih warna kalo kita ingin menggunakan warna nada yang sama satu warna harus lebih muda dari yang warna laennya sehingga warna2x itu bisa kelihatan bagus), untuk dauunya saya gunakan warna abu2x (abu2x sangat cocok dengan ungu muda). Untuk outline mawarnnya saya gunakan ungu muda yang sama dengan base colornya. Untuk Mickey dan Minnienya saya gambar dengan hitam, merah dan ungu yang lebih tua (saya gunakan ungu yang sama untuk mawarnya sehingga mempunyai theme yang sama). Semua warna saya gunakan Angel Pro Gelly brand.

I'm not a very romantic person by nature but there is no relation being a romantic person and creating a romantic nail art I guess as you can see from the art I created. A little bit of heart and bouquet of roses makes romance in the air :) ...

For the base color I used white (Angel Pro Gelly gelish) and the red (Jacqueline Burchell gelish), this red is a little bit orangy red I love this red color so much it makes our nails looks bright especially for fair skin tone people.

For the art I did little tiny hearts with white (Angel Pro Gelly), the red roses with tiny swirl of pink (red also is Jacqueline Burchell and the pink is Angel Pro Gelly), green (Angel Pro Gelly) for the leaves.

Saya bukan seorang yang romantik tetapi saya rasa tidak ada hubungannya dengan seorang yang romantik dan menciptakan art yang romantic, terbukti dari hasil art yang saya ciptakan. Beberapa hati dan karangan bunga mawar menciptakan suasana romantik di udara :).

Untuk warna dasarnya saya menggunakan warna putih (Angel Pro Gelly) dan merah (Jacqueline Burchell), warna merah ini sedikit terlihat kuning jeruk, tapi saya sangat menyukai warna merah ini karena membuat kuku kita terlihat terang terutama untuk orang berwarna kulit putih.

Untuk artnya saya menggambar hati2x kecil dengan warna putih (Angel Pro Gelly), bunga mawarnya dengan warna merah dengan sedikit pink (merahnya Jacqueline Burchell, pink nya Angel Pro Gelly), hijau (Angel Pro Gelly) untuk daunnya.

This art was requested by my client. She brought a picture she took from internet and asked me to reproduce but the original art was made by either stickers or papers cut into small squares (refer to the "Pictures taken from internet provided by client" below).

But what I did I drew them one by one all the squares,that's why  this art wasn't easy and tedious to reproduce because of the placing of the color blocks and I had to do 3 layers for each the blue and pink colors because they were made on top of black colors so if I didn't did 3 layers of coloring the color wasn't turn out nice and strong like now. 

For the base I didn't use any color except the base coat from Angel Pro Gelly, then I did straight black french manicure continue with drawing the medium square (pink-3 layers) then big square (blue-3 layers) and last the small square (white-2 layers). And not to forget add the yellow line and white line as an extra detail.

Art ini di minta oleh client saya untuk di buat ulang di kukunya memakai referensi art dari internet. Original art ini dibuat entah dengan stiker atau potongan kertas (lihat gambar dengan title  "Pictures taken from internet provided by client" di atas adalah gambar asli yang disediakan oleh client saya).

Art ini tidak mudah dibuat karena penempatan blok2x warnanya, dan saya harus membuat 3 lapis untuk setiap warna biru dan pink nya karena warna2x itu diatas warna hitam gelap, kalau saya tidak buat 3 lapis warnanya tidak akan kuat dan sebagus sekarang.

Untuk warna dasarnya saya tidak menggunakan warna apapun selain warna dari base color Angel Pro Gelly yang transparan lalu saya membuat french manicure hitam lurus, di sambung dengan membuat kotak ukuran medium (pink-3 lapis), lalu kotak ukuran besar (biru-3 lapis), dan terakhir kotak ukuran kecil (putih-2 lapis). Dan tidak melupakan tambahkan garis kuning dan puthinya sebagai detail extra.

Hi my lovely friends if you like polka dots I'm sure you will like this design. This Design was made of lots of polka dots and lines from 2 colors either white or black. Yup it is so simple but in life something simple sometimes can be very attractive same like this design.

The colors are obvious; black, white and some glitters. All are Angel Pro Gelly brand. Even though simple to make this nail design nice is the perfection of how I made the dots and lines , it shows how tedious this design even it looks so simple so before you try to make this design by yourself prepare yourself to do it patiently so the result would be satisfying.

Hi teman, kalau anda adalah penggemar polka dots dan garis, saya yakin anda akan menyukai design ini. Design ini terdiri dari hanya polkadots dan garis2x. Yup, sangat sederhana tapi di dunia ini sesuatu yang sederhana bisa terlihat sangat menarik.

Warna yang saya pakai sangat nyata, hitam, putih dan gliter. Semuanya saya pakai merk Angel Pro Gelly.Walaupun sederhana tetapi design ini harus di buat dengan sangat perfect untuk garis dan polka dots nya , itu menunjukkan bagaimana kita harus hati2x dalam membuat design ini. Jadi sebelum Anda mencoba untuk membuat design ini persiapkan utk belajar sabar sehingga hasilnya akan memuaskan.

Kawaii Girl

I'm not into very kawaii style nail but for this design is exception , I do like how it turn out and it's very girly and kawaii (means cute in Japanese). 

For the base color I use transparent Harmony gelish, soft pastel pink and hot pink (Angel Pro Gelly) for the french manicure.

For the art, I did few Acrylic embossed roses (mixture between light pink and white powder -NSI brand..I forget it is made in US or UK) and fixed some ribbon charms and crown. For doing the embossed rose I like using NSI brand acrylic powder because it harden faster so I don't have to wait to long to mold it into roses. (but the weakness is we need to work fast otherwise we don't have enough time to mold it into shapes so it's not recommended for beginners).  At the thumbs I did cut out heart maybe one day i did tutorial for this art. And for the final touch put lots of swarovsky.

Saya bukan seorang sangat suka dengan kawaii ("lucu" dalam bahasa Jepang) style nail art tetapi untuk design ini ada pengecualian karena saya suka bagaimana nail art kawaii style ini begitu feminine dan elegant.

Untuk warna dasarnya saya menggunakan Harmony gelish utk transparant base nya, pastel pink dan hot pink utk french manicurenya. 

Untuk artnya saya membuat beberapa embossed mawar (perpaduan warna pink dan putih) dengan menggunakan acrylic powder merk NSI (saya lupa dari America atau dari British) dan memasang pita dengan "charm" dan mahkota. Untuk membuat mawarnya saya suka memakai NSI brand acrylic powder karena sangat cepat mengeras sehingga saya tidak perlu menunggu lama untuk membentuknya (tetapi saat yang bersamaan kelemahan dari brand ini kita harus membentuk dengan cepat sebelum terlalu keras dan tidak bisa dibentuk lagi , saya tidak sarankan merk ini untuk pemula). Di bagian jempol saya membuat hati transparan mungkin satu saat saya akan membuat tutorial bagaimana membuat art ini. Untuk final touch saya taruh banyak swarovsky.

Marc Jacob Inspired Nail Art

As seen at: Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Prada, Louis Vuitton, floras are blooming everywhere - Huge daisies & Roses, It's all about the 60's vibe and flower power the season (refer to the picture below). For the nail art this time I choose Marc Jacobs inspired white and black floras and the asymmetric line which creates up to date nail art design.

For the base color I used black, white, and grey (Angel Pro Gelly).

For the nail art I used same colors as the base as I want to keep the monochromatic [ having or appearing to have only one color reff: google search]  look in this design.

For this nail arts we can use other color combo such as:

1.for  base: pastel pink and blue, nail art: interchange the color with the base for example if the base blue can draw the floral in pink or white.

2. for base: red, nail art is white or gold.

Seperti yang terlihat pada Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Prada, Louis Vuitton, flora menjadi popular dimana-mana - Bunga Daisy dan mawar, semua mengingatkan kepada era tahun 60 an dan Flora design menjadi trend hangat saat itu kembali popular sekarang dipopularkan para designer ternama zaman sekarang (lihat gambar di atas untuk Marc Jacobs fashion). Untuk nail art ini saya memilih Flora hitam putih Marc Jacobs yang dikombinasikan dengan garis asimetris yang menghasilkan art yang lebih modern.

Untuk warna basenya saya menggunakan hitam,putih, dan abu-abu (Angel Pro Gelly).

 

Untuk nail artnya saya menggunakan warna yang sama dengan warna basenya untuk meninggalkan kesan Monochromatic (satu warna) pada design ini.

 

Untuk nail art ini beberapa ide warna yang lain:

1.Untuk warna dasar bisa memakai biru atau pink untuk artnya : pakai warna yang sama tetapi kebalikan dengan warna dasarnya contoh; kalo warna dasar biru untuk floranya pakai pink atau putih.

2. Untuk warna dasar bisa juga pakai merah, lalu untuk flora nail artnya bisa pakai putih atau emas.

The base color here I'm using Harmony Gelish for the transparent with soft glitter and  soft pastel pink Angel Pro Gelly and for some of the nails with the same pink color I made slanted french style with black outline also using Angel Pro Gelly.

For the art itself I draw them with red and black Angel Pro Gelly color. The inspiration of the art I got it from google image search Mr. Moustache's image. Some glitter on the black hat Mr Moustache I used Jacqueline Burchell gelish. In art every single fine details make a big different :).

The base color I'm using white, white pink,  and soft pastel blue Angel Pro Gelly.

For the art I'm using black Angel Pro Gelly using some dotter tool to make perfect dot and free hand drew the Moustache and the triangles, whereas for the ribbon made by swarovsky multicolor (it looks blue here because the swarovsky reflect the base color that is soft pastel blue). This art is simple but have some fun and soft colors make it feminine yet in blue and white colors instead of merely pink color.

Untuk nail artnya saya menggunakan Angel Pro Gelly hitam dengan menggunakan alat pembuat bulatan (dotter) dan menggambar Mr.Moustache dan setiganya, sedangkan pitanya saya pakai multicolor Swarovsky untuk membentuknya (disini pitanya terlihat biru karena swarovsky nya memantulkan warna pastel birunya). Art ini terlihat sederhana tapi menarik dan perpaduan warna pastel yang lembut yang terdiri dari biru dan putih menampilkan segi femine design ini tanpa harus selalu memakai warna pink muda.

For base color I'm using red (Jaqueline Burchell gelish), white and  black (Angel Pro Gelly gelish), for the transparant base I'm using Harmony Gelish.

For the nail art I was inspired by a little boy I saw wearing t-shirt with Mr. Moustache wearing American flag glasses so I found it very interesting for my nail art as a result one of a kind Mr. Moustache design :). I did some leopard design for some of the nails, leopard design is very easy to do, nice and in trend nowadays for the nail art but be careful  of the color combo used for doing this leopard style or otherwise the look  can be a little bit out of date.

Disini saya mengkombinasikan leopard design yang kembali menjadi trend utk nail art, tetapi hati-hati ketika membuat leopard design ini dengan perpaduan warna yang salah bisa terlihat kuno atau "old fashioned".
